Pop Charger ztube Question

Hey guys, i just installed the ztube with the jwt pop charger, i couldnt get the bottom of the heatshield attatched, so i left it unbolted. and i hear a whistling at around 2000 rpm.. i was wondering if this was normal.

Yes that's normal.

Looks like you are missing the small flange that goes on the shield...it grimps onto a part of the firewall down there next to that big hole.

Yes the whistling is normal. However I installed mine last week and couldn't hear any difference (no whistling) until past 3k RPM when it started to roar.

And you should really put the bottom bracket on if you can.

Also make sure you protected the AC line with wire loom too.

Where can I buy this kit?? I hear its one of the best options for sound and performance on the market.. After this guy (another G) with the Aem intake took me on the road it never sounded too bad, I gotta come back with something better

get the ztube from my350z.com for 50 shipped. get the popcharger new from everythingg35.com for like 120 shipped.

and to the OP, the heatshield was a pain when trying to get in on that little lip the directions say it should be on.. dont worry if its not.

and about the whistle, under light throttle the car will whistle. if your really give it some gas it will get deep and throaty... both sound nice imo
