Seriously, I can't wait to get mine. I guess the real question is, has someone kept their OEM HR Y Pipe and just used that one with their aftermarket exhaust?
If so, how is it performing together with your new system?

Hopefully these two parts together will = great times. What if I added HFCs? How much more power will that add?

Uhh uhh not yet. (Soon to be) I'm still waiting until after tax time. Plus my birthday's coming up too. With the little I'll have set aside for that specifically, I'll put it toward the purchase/installation of the Mag.

Really? I thought the longer pipes on the HR made it yield some extra HP.
How much louder will it be if I did both HR-Y pipe and HFCs but kept the stock catback? I'm thinking if both yield enough gains, I won't need an aftermarket exhaust until I go FI.
That's not going to be for a long while though......
Guys, so you're saying in my stock exhaust form now, skip out on the HR y pipe and just go for the HFCs alone? As for HFCs, I'm trying to decide between the Crawfords and FI ones.
My only concern is, I just don't want to run in to any problems here in Chicago when it comes time for the emissions test.
Do the HFCs make the car blow smoke or stuff like that? Or does it still look and smell normal around the exhaust area like with the OEM Cats?

ti, that's what I had
MDE 5/16" spacer, Stillen/Ztube, CrawfordZ HFCs, and the HR y-pipe w/ the stock exhaust. The HFCs are what make the most difference in the sound of the exhaust, whereas the HR y-pipe didn't really change it much, if any at all. However it accelerated much smoother. As for HFCs, they smell a bit, but not NEARLY as bad as test pipes, and they don't blow any smoke haha. Also, you shouldn't have any problem w/ emissions with HFCs.
