But if I don't have a spacer yet, do I need to get it to add the revup box, or is that only if I'm going to use a ztube as well?

+1. They are. You can get a Z RevUp airbox, but you'll have to drill out the rivets on the velocity stack and then swap velocity stacks between the two airboxes. Those are the only shared parts.

The spacer allows more air flow to get to the front cylinders because on the stock plenium slopes down and starves the front cylinders for air. This is the best performance upgrade for our cars. You will feel the different too once its installed. I believe it will give you 10 more HP at the wheels.
