Ok, I'm new here and have a simple question that has probably been answered so many times. What intake would be the best to get...for sound and power??

Been hearing alot about ztube with the pop charger

i havent tried out any other intake beside the Fuijita F5 Short Ram Intake. I have it on my car. I bought it in black. it sounds really nice, definitely amplified the exhaust note and more engine roar. i also noticed a slight high end power increase but not very significant. the sound is very nice.

My first mod was zTube, K&N and 5/16 ISO spacer all at once.

Installed them myself. Reset the ECU afteward and felt a nice difference since I did them all at once. I'm sure all 3 prolly added 15whp or so. Not so small you don't feel the gains but not so big its like going forced induction.

You'll feel the difference between 3-4K RPM

P.S

I never did this since I'm going FI soon but I hear if you get the REvUp motor airbox (05-07 6MT) you add more gains maybe an extra 3-5whp.

There's a thread floating around here where folks are swearing by it. Not bad if you're staying NA for a while

05-07 6mt air box is the revup box.

do some research on R2c intake. I just ordered mine and cant wait to install it. Im actually going to be selling my revup airbox soon. or you could purchase one from riverside infiniti for about 85 bucks. its just the back part of the air box not the full air box. (the part that sits behind the panel air filter)

LO, how much are you selling yours for? If your price is good enough, I'll grab it anyway and run it until I add boost

O.P, do some research....I just hit search and found this thread below

Rev-Up airbox on a VQ35DE - special note

Sorry for the momentary thread jack. When will you get the R2C?^^

Will you PM me your thoughts when you get it installed? I found a vendor that will sell just the front half w/o the tube and I'm considering it.

OK back OT.

yes, I do... the entire box is painted black metallic (supposed to be black chrome, but not quite)... I have a Z-tube painted same color if you are interested. Prefer So Cal local though (kinda bulky to ship).
