I voted for FI, because that is what I have and have not encounter a single problem to include installation. Sounds great, no rasp, no CEL light and most importantly the craftmanship is amazing. Tony and his crew do awesome work. I also got FI exhaust. I have not check their site in a while, but if they make a long tube headers for g35 I will be jumping on that too. I think they have one for the G37.

I have Berks on my car. They sound great! The only thing I dont like is on the downrev at about 2k there is a raspy/hiss sound. I am running the stock exhaust though and from what I have read that is probably why I am getting that sound. I love the sound the HFC's add to the exhaust note. Basically a deeper growl and amplification of the stock exhaust note. Not very noticeable at idle or with granny driving. However, if you get on it a bit youll notice theyre there!

No, I have the Tanabe Medalion axle back exhaust with the HR Y-pipe.
I just swapped the hr y-pipe out this morning with a Tanabe y-pipe and it got ride almost all the rasp.
Made a huge difference!
Yes, Berks are 200 cell (metallic substrate).
Berk used to offer 300 cell ceramic substrate, but I don't think they do any more.

I had that same hiss on the downrev with my Tanabe Medalion exhaust.
Once I swapped out the HR y-pipe with a larger diameter Tanabe y-pipe it got rid most of the hiss & rasp.

i had FI and they sounded great performed well and no cel or any smell. the quality is top notch as well. they make them when you order it so its not just sitting around. however i've read a lot of people use berks and have good reviews of them too. if it were me id go with either berks or FI

Yeah, any piping after the HFCs that are a smaller diameter can cause rasp and the downrev hiss.

Very nice, wonder how nice it sounds, do you have any sounds clips?
Basically the Berks are a bit more free flowing that the FI...
I'm now stuck between Berks or FI....hmm.....

Berk HFC 200 Cell vs Fast Intentions HFC 300 cell, which is better?
So I started the other thread to determine the best HFC for our cars and it came down to these 2 brands:
- Berk HFC 200 cell
- FI HFC 300 cell
I've read from various sources that the Berks are in fact 200 cell and the FI HFC is 300 cell.
I do know 200 cell means theres better flow, therefore a bit more power, but do you guys think it would be noticeable at all or that much better than the FI 300 cell?
I need to pick one of the 2 as my Cats have gone out and I did not want to put back the Megan TPs i had...

I purchased a set Berk Technology HFC from B2AutoDesigns and am currently awaiting delivery. You should note that to maximize the increased flow rate and thus power gains from a HFC you will need to have an upgraded exhaust system. I have the Tanabe high-flow race y-pipe and the HKS high-flow sports axle back exhaust.
