Exhaust Sound Exchange

I want for my 08 g35S to sound a bit louder, not too loud but something much different from stock. What brand of exhaust do ya'll recommend me to buy other than borla? And also can I just switch it by just doing the mufflers, change the whole exhaust system, or what single thing can I get to make it sounds different? Thanks!

A muffler change is the lowest price and makes a noticeable difference. Mostly sound.

An catalytic converter back system makes a large difference, sound and performance.

Header back (replace cats with HFC/Test Pipes) and you have power and lots of noise added.

what i use to have is fast intention. Great exhaust. not to loud not to quiet. when you add HFC it does get a lot louder. You can also go with Motordyne. That's what i have on my G right now.

Search is your friend...use it!

Has this question ever been asked before? Try our SEARCH using the words "Best Exhaust Sound" or "Best Exhaust!" This subject has been discussed for 14 years so there's a gazillion threads to read! There is also a lot of vids but they're only as good as the KMart recording systems used!
