I was wondering if the automatic console / arm rest part is interchangeable in a manual g35

No, I have a 6mt already. Just wanted to know if the automatic consoles swap in

 

In short yes they do. If your talking about the elbow pad piece. The front part does not because the shift boot and automatic part is different.

 

Ok because i was going to swap the consoles for the cup holders

 

Yes the back section separates from the front where the shifter is. Should be good

No pics... But it should fit just fine...

 

Yeah I just looked into the pictures and it won't work. The cup holders are that way for the ebrake. I guess if to you take out your ebrake lever it would work

 

yeah, i was looking into doing something like this before so I was super surprised that it was feasible. i hate the 6mt console / armrest. Bought an 03 console that has no armrest which looks like the 350z one but it doesnt fit either. gotta fab up something custom to make it work

 

Why wouldn't it fit? That's what I swapped into my car...

 

do you have pics of the install? you swapped auto console into your 6mt or you swapped 03 console into 05+ interior?

lol yes i understand but what did you swap exactly. which console did you swap? i am not understanding how you did the swap and what you swapped. op wants to swap auto console into manual and you said it was feasible

there are so many different variations... (all 6mt version)
03 console has no armrest
04-05 console has armrest
05+ has redesigned interior with 2 part console (top and bottom piece)

 

O I miss read then no you can't. Automatics don't have a hand brake I believe they used a foot pedal for the e brake. I may be wrong... I swapped a 03.5 g35 manual console
