Removing door panel when the door won't open
So, BOTH of my rear doors ('07 G35x) will not open from the inside or outside. How can I fix this? I figure step one is to get the door panel off. Is that even possible if the door's not open? I've got the access panels and bolts removed, but i cant get anything but the top of the door panel to budge.

Well I got one door fixed. The drivers side door wasn't opening from the inside because the child safety switch was on. I was able to get the top of the panel loosened enough and then get my arm in toward the backside of the panel and got most of the back half of the panel popped loose. The front of the door panel is pinched pretty tight against the jam when the door is closed, but the back half has more play. Got it just loose enough to slide a pry tool down and flip the child safety lock off.
After that, I removed the handle mechanism and found that the ball at the end of the cable had come loose from the rest of the handle mechanism. Didn't even have to buy a part! All it cost me was a little time! I've got a feeling that it's something different on the passenger side though.

Im not sure why the above guy didnt open the door from teh outside if it was the child safty. Anyways.
the door panel has a lip on it, that hangs over where teh window goes down. (the interior weather strip ?) it is possible the grab this interior weater strip and pul it upwards to unhook it from the slot for the window. this creates a little room to work. Really not enough. Then you can yank and yank and the attachemnets will come loose. However, I was not able to actually remove the whole panle. Possibly if you remove the front seat, you may be able too . I did not get that far,,,, anyways what was the issue? why did that happen. I managed to get mine fixed but not sure what the issue was, they it happened again,
was it rain/moisture? lack of lube somewhere? door that is improperly adjusted ?
