Question removing seat belts

i am removing the seat belts because i am using a harness. there's a trick to remove the SRS light with the seats through the use of resistors. so now i am trying this with the seat belts - there is a yellow plug that plugs into the pre-tensioner. if you unplug this, the SRS light will flash. so i took a resistance reading of the pre-tensioner and it indicated 0.2 ohms. i soldered some resistors together to get a resistance of 0.2 ohms, plugged it in, and i still get the SRS light. anyone have any ideas?
