Possible to dim tiny overhead lights? ('07 sedan)
Excited to be posting my very first question after I joined the g35 owner club this week. ('07 sedan)
I had a couple of hour drive bringing it home from where I purchased - all at night - and started to notice that the two little overhead lights next to the big map lights seemed distractingly bright. I presume that they're meant to just give a little ambience or visibility on the stereo/climate controls or something, but they were too bright for my liking. I haven't been able to figure out a way to dim them or turn them off though, and they don't seem to be mentioned in the manual. Does anyone know if these can be dimmed or turned off? Thanks! if you feel skilled enough to remove the panel, just pop it off and unplug the connectors for the lights. I haven't looked in there yet, but I"m pretty sure its just connectors.
however, there may be a possibility that those are wired into a circuit board because I'm assuming that they are LED's. you may have to deal with it, or de solder it from the circuit board. hope that helps.
