06 Center Console fitting problems in 03
Hi all G lovers
I need some help here! I have a 03 G and I was planning to fit a 06 center console with arm-rest. I order it and got it, but when i try to install in. The shift boot part is not fitting. I really don't know how to fix it. I know that i m suppose to get a 03.5 center console. But so how under my impression the 06 will fit. Don't know y.  Now the thing is do i need to modify the existing piece? or need to order the 06 shift boot part? or i need to reorder the whole thing again? Thx Peter

umm, i don't think you can install the center counsels from 03 to 06 years i never seen it done yet.

I think you need more than just the console if you want to do that conversion, more likely you'll need the whole center dash section

the interior changed in 05 so you might need to do some serious modification to make it fit and it still probably would not be 100%
