Interior lights shut off when headlights turn on

Interior lights shut off when headlights turn on

I Cannot figure out what is causeing my interior lights to all shut off when the headlights turn on. All of the electrical components still work but they do not light up once the headlights are turned on. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?? I have a '04 G35 sedan

Did you accidentally hit the lighting switch on the left side of the steering wheel by the VDC control? I did that once and started freaking out when my dash board lights stopped turning on.
