hmm I don't know, but I would say be very careful that the airbag doesnt go off, etc. I would say however you do this, you want the battery disconnected, you may want to check with your infiniti service department or local service garage you use, etc.

I got the same wheel and planning to install on a 2003 coupe. Does it matter that the radio controls (bluetooth(?), Mode) are different than my 2003? Or should I swap out the controls from my 2003? If so, do the controls come off easily, or do I have to yank it off? I don't want to break the plastic.

disconnect the battery

remove the two bolts on either side of the air bag

take out the large bolt holding the steering wheel in place

unplug all wires

install new wheel.

-------------> couldn't be simpler.

Just wait several min before touching the airbag after disconnecting the battery. The capacitors need to drain first. Have a puller handy too. Its not just going to pop off.
