Leather upholstery came off :(

Car: 04 G coupe with extended warranty

Problem: rear seat, right side leather upholstery came off. Don't think extended warranty covers it, so guess i have to fix it myself. Any idea how to properly do it?

Thanks

Fix

Had the same thing happen in my 03 G35. Go to your local auto parts store and buy some 3M spray glue, find yourself a small 1/2 wide paint brush, small plastic dish. Spray the glue into the dish, brush the glue onto the cardboard panel and leather, make sure you put some on the upper edge of the panel and behind it if you can. Press leather against panel and tuck it back in....done!! Very easy to fix.

The leather has a foam backing, apply glue to foam vice leather.

$20 and an interior shop can fix that in less than 5 minutes...or 3m glue it yourself

Should, i'm looking at fixing mine as well. Anyone know how to take it off? I tried unscrewing all nuts in the DVD-ROM cover door, but it still didn't come off

Pink is where glue came off.

^^^^

I posted up something like this about a month or two ago. Any DIY fixes on removing that panel? I want to completely take it off and start with fresh adhesive.
