|
Window motor
My window was not working today, the window would not go down or respond at all. Then, when I got off work today it seemed to be working fine. Does this sound like the typical window motor being bad or is it something else?

Was the window lock pressed? For some reason Infiniti designed the window lock to lock the driver window controls as well.

Yup this is somewhat of a common problem.
Next time it gets stuck, hold down the window button and hit the door panel where the window motor is and it will come down. Ghetto I know but it works as a temporary solution; especially when the window gets stuck when down. New motor is definitely the long term solution....

I've been having to slam my doors 4 or 5 times until the window will work. It's been like that for about 3 weeks now. The car is at Infiniti getting bother window motors and passenger seat motor repalced. I'll have a loaner until I can get it next Saturday

^^ was it still under warranty? My passenger door is starting to act up, I replaced my driver's door a few months ago and it's great, sucks that it cost me 100 and something from autozone but at least it came with a lifetime warranty
 .
