Headlights?

Ok so I purchased my G about 6 months ago and the car was immaculate except for this fog that covers the stock headlight lens'. I was always looking for some new ones but never really put much effort into it. Now its starting to bother me and Ive decided I need new headlights/lens but Im not sure what exactly I need......just the lens or the whole setup etc. Also I may be interested in completly swapping the stocks for something aftermarket but I know nothing about headlights haha. Can someone point me in the right direction Im lost

fog on the lense/headlights...

I had this develop on my G35 and the dealership offered to clear this up for $65 while I was in for an oil change. I went to the local auto parts store, bought Meguiars headlight polish. Polished up both headlights and no more fog. My headlights are crystal clear. Spend 8.00 on the polish and try that first if that does not work, maybe new headlights are in order. Time to upgrade to 2006 projectors?

hope that helps

If you go to riverside infiniti website in LA I think they have them for sale. It is a projector housing inside the headlight and they are all clear with no amber lense. Everyone says they provide better light as well with the projector: here is the link:

hope that works. The light polish:

If you look at the bottle it has a g35 on it!!! A known proplem with our headlights.

You can do this yourself!

Or if your like me, and own an 03-05, i plan to get the projector'd 06+ headlights sooner or later!

so i did a search for this exact subject since my lights got really foggy... i went out and bought the meguiar PlastX, this is my results...

BEFORE- Driver side.

Before- Passenger Side

AFTER- Driver side.

AFTER- Passenger Side

So in conclusion IT Worked Really well. Just when u put it on make sure to wipe it when its wet, u let it dry it smears and leaves it dry like how wax does on your car. Its well worth 7.99 @ kragen ... only items used 1 wax pad, 1 little micro fiber cloth.

That plastix-X obviously works... I mean, how could it not? There's a G35 Coupe on the picture in the label.

^^ It works, but over time it will haze back. To do it right the first time, with hazing like that above you need to wetsand!

Toothpaste will work or this will.

Headlight polishing(before & after shots)

No need to buy new lights but nothing wrong with upgrading

SALE!! 2006 Projector Headlamps G35 Coupe

There is a 3M ClearBra kit for the headlights. After cleaning apply the film. It's supposed to be guarantied for 5 years.
