Hi guys,

i have an issue with my 2006 6Mt g coupe : my daytime running lights are always on, as soon as i turn the key to "on" position, and even with the hand brake engaged... normally it should not turn on until i start the car AND release the hand brake... Any idea of what the problem could be ?!?! thanks !

I say just remove the DRL altogether

 

yea well... i wanted to do that, only problem is drl are mandatory here in quebec ...! id like to repair than to pull out ! anyone has an idea what the problem could be ?!

 

Same deal here in BC. I dont think anyone enforces the rule here, not sure about Quebec.
My only lead is the fuse, or the electronics that detects it's on is faulty.

 

I have an 07 g35x sedan, and had the same problem. My drl always stayed on regardless on ebrake or when the projector lights turned on. what ended up solving the problem for me is, when my car died and i had to jump start it. suddenly the drl only came on when they were suppose to and turned off when the projector hid was turned on. Perhaps it needed like a reset or something hope that helps.
