Smoked My Tails, Now I Need Brighter Lights

Basically, I smoked my own tail lights on my grey 2005 g35 coupe. I gotta say, I was against it at first. But after doing this, I can honestly say it Is one of the best things to do to a grey coupe, but only Grey and maybe black. Anyway, My tailights are kind of difficult to see now... I basically just want to know if there are brighter bulbs I can buy to combat this? If so, where can I find them? I want AS BRIGHT AS POSSIBLE, because otherwise ill be forced to go back to a stock tail light. I have researched with little luck, all answers are welcomed. thank you in advance.

Our tail lights are basically all LED's except for the middle of the rings, as pictured. I'm guessing you want to make the rings brighter, right? Only way to do that is to take the tails apart and be extremely handy with a sodering iron or get them professional done $$$$.
.

If your wanting brighter reverse lights Diode Dynamics has some of the best quality and brightest ones you can find on here. Here's his thread.

My 2 cents, you should've gone with Blue Bats GTR overlays. That way all your lights are visible and the tint would be easily removeable. Here's Blue Bat's thread for more info.

This should be all the info you need....

I know... I just loved the way the painted looks. It looks more natural than the overlay. But shoot, I figured they were all LEDs... So there's no way to make them brighter? It's gonna be a pain to take all the paint off.... I might just leave it and pray no one rear ends me. It is still clearly visible, but again not nearly as bright as it should be. Decisions decisions.... Thanks for the reply though.

With my 20% overlay, lamps are still quite visible .

there is no simple way to make the LEDs brighter. You could always sand down the paint so that it isn't as dark.

A bit late, but I might as well update you guys. I have since taken the paint off (carb cleaner works like a charm) and have installed blue bats overlays. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone thinking of painting their lights, coming from someone that did. OVERLAYS OVERLAYS OVERLAYS. DON'T PAINT YOUR LIGHTS.
