Ebay headlight for coupe not compatible for halogen
Hi all, i have a 2003 G35 coupe
the headlights are already hazed / oxidated and i am thinking about getting a pair of aftermarket one from ebay
now, all the aftermarket headlights for coupe are only compatible with HID model, which unfortunately.. mine is halogen model
Can i convert from halogen to HID bulb and then use those ebay lights?
If i can, what are the parts i need?
Thanks!

*rest of the forum stay cool I got this**
The eBay lights won't work on your car. No matter the year or halogen vs projector.
Your only option here is to replace with oem reflectors from 03-05 or better yet, replace with oem projector headlights from 06-07
No other option

Price is very right on that projector. If you buy them separate you have much better odds of saving money.
Another option is to buy a set of eBay new reflectors and swap the lenses onto your current headlights. You would need to do some research and have to DIY a bit for that one though.
There is also companies who will sand and clear coat headlights. But the good ones are quite expensive.
Good luck.

So as Urban says, you can get your OEM lenses polished and clear coated. There are DIY kits, but usually the clear doesn't hold up against the UV rays. Professionally done is expensive, but worth it to have them spray with auto body clear. I had my body shop so mine three years ago ($100 each) and this is what they looked like last month:
