nice, but what if you want to remove the entire front bumper? are there any more screws, clips, bolts that need to be unscrewed to get the entire thing off?

Trying to paint my headlights. I cannot get the headlight free from the car, I cannot see the clip that I need to unplug. Is it on the bottom of the harness and how exactly do I "unclip" it? Do I push it away from the harness? Any help is appreciated thanks =)

I had the same issue when I was trying to replace my bulbs. I just slipped the harness off the bracket it is attached to. That gave me enough room to take the headlight out. It wasn't too bad sliding it back on either. Hope this helps.

Ok, well, still can't get it out. The harness has a that little plastic attached on the top, and while trying to push it out, it broke. Now the harness is loose from the headlight, but still attached, How do I unclip it? I can flip the harness to expose the bottom(since that top clip is now snapped, and I can see the clip but I don't get how it works. How do i use the screwdriver to unclip it?

the clips are on the underside, if you can rotate it, you can see it, if not, use a small mirror and put it on the bottom, you'll see where u should unclip, if it snapped, it should come off, theres like 2 little "stopper" clip holding it with the main clip, good luck!

Anyone from western Maryland and done the demoneye installs before? I've sat here for 3 hours trying to get the damn light harness unplugged and am freaken tired of messing with it. I'll pay someone to install the AAC demon eye kit and will give you a hand where I can. If not, someone can buy my kit from me then.

Ya the designers could have put the release clip on the TOP!!!! of the plug. Its a pain to get it and to unclip it.

Got mine out and the oven is preheating right now. w00t!

If you're really frustrated, just break the piece that the harness slides onto.

Then you can rotate the harness and unclip it.

When I put my headlights back in, I didn't even slide the harness back on (I was able to unclip without breaking anything so the slider is still useful) because it'll make things much easier in the future.

so there's actually an easlier way... i foudn out -.-
you know how the chip is slipped on to a bracket on the headlight, just pull the whole harness of that clip towards the rear of car, it'll break off and makes everything much easier
