Unless you're compensating for a monsterously large libido, you know, trying to make it look smaller next to your HUMMER because you're always scaring the smaller women. Just a thought.

here's the thing. i can see here in the U.S of A where bigger is better. I am a HUGE fan of small FI cars. (my S2k) i wish the US would follow the trend of other countries where everyone drives smaller cars and all the car peeps fix them up. ex: asian, europe etc...

but in other countries where small cars reigns i can see where the following would be. Here the states they get laughed at. but im sure they laugh at all the big V8s and such.... everyone loves big displacement motors and HUGE HP numbers with a alot of curb weight. but we are really the last country to follow the trend. we'll be there soon. when gas is 20 a gallon. or until they make an alternative fuel and capitalize on that.

When I was working at Nestle, we had some of the people from HQ in Switzerland come out for a visit and I got elected to drive.

At the time, I had an Excursion, with a 6" lift and 38" tires and they practically shat their pants. According to them, you NEVER see these trucks in Europe. Apparently in addition to their high cost of fuel, they pay an ungodly tax on vehicles that exceed a certain weight.

You haver to remember that the price folks pay for gas in the UK is a hell of a lot more than we pay, so little cars are often on the menu. A sorted fiesta will give quite a few cars a run for their money.

i love the ignorance on the board. "I wouldnt drive it b/c its still a fiesta". I wonder how you guys feel about me stating 'I wouldnt drive a G35 b/c it's just a Nissan"

I guess the fact you drive a more expensive care makes you better???

pdjafari - yeah. come on. it's a fiesta... don't expect to pick up chicks in your yugo either...

there's a whole negative tv commercial from freecreditreport.com about the guy 'drivin' off the lot in a used subcompact' - for a reason. it makes you less of a man.

LOL, sorry for the reality check, but yeah we live in a society, and to attract the best candidate through which to pass on your DNA, you have to compete with other males.

in general, everything men do in their lives, is in some way, an attempt to get laid. if i had no desire to get more and hotter chicks, i would quit work and school and just go be homeless, cuz i really don't give a $hit... but instead, i have this massive motivation to get laid, and it causes me to buy nice things and dress nice, and want bigger nicer things like a house, that will attract the most formidible candidate , through which to pass on my DNA. This is what our animal human nature has evolved into.

a ford fiesta is NOT the most effective way to convey to the female species that you are the best candidate.
