cool looking wheels..

but structurally it doesnt make sense to build them out of a woven carbon cloth... it would be possible to build an even lighter and stronger (and much cooler looking imo) wheel out of unidirectional carbon tow

That really depends. CF is many times stronger than steel given the same thickness. I'm pretty sure you can stab a knife through a steel hood as well.

its 15lb lighter than our OEM 19s.

15x4x4= 240lb.

By just putting those wheels on, its like taking 240lb out of the car plus lighten all 4 corners = improved handling and steering response.

Man if i had the cash. "drool!"

I have had my eye on DYMAG wheels for my bike for a while... They have made carbon fiber wheels for years for the motorcycles..

I would love to have a set. they are about $3k for the pair.
