Same thing happened to me yesterday. My friend and I went in to buy a GPS, picked one out, get out to the G, and the thing has the wrong power cable. Go back in. lazy *** tells me to contact the manufacturer. im like, WTF. They wouldnt even check for another.

$150, didnt even come with the original packaging or anything. Oh well. Friend is using his camera power cord for now.

If it was open box (which I'm guessing by the lack of original packaging) then he's pretty much SOL. If it's just a standard cable I say take it as a lesson learned and buy one on Ebay for a few bucks and save yourself the hassle.

Your opinion (shared by many sound-snobs)
I did not buy it b/c it was a "bose", I bought it b/c it sounded fanfukcing tastic on their display set in the store which is in a wide open space (not a smaller room that it went in), it was a great price and it sounds even better in my house. Thx,

Screw bb and cc. There prices for sales where marked up when i went through about a month ago. They wanted 30 bux for a crappy pair of gummy earphones. Half the things they put up for sale are actually miss marked and ring up different at the register. They are scamming people.

He handed me a box, said "here, same capacity, all set". Get home: I had an IDE drive, he gave me an SATA drive. I returned to the store and spoke to everyone up the food chain and they all refused to exchange it. I repeatedly told them that they gave me bad advice and it's their fault, they said,"No, all sales final". I went outside, called the local PD who arrived and threatened to arrest the manager and the sales associate for "Larceny by False Pretenses" if they did not complete the exchange or refund me. I got the correct hard drive.

2) I Purchased an external 500GB drive from CC today. Drove to Best Buy and realized that the 40% off that they had their HDDs selling at was 40% off their inflated price, and only about 5% less than Best Buy.

Moral of the story: screw CC and screw liquidators.
1. suck to hear but at least you taught them some lesson
2. Yeah, that what I found on their car speakers, it seems that their price is similiar/more expensive than ebay.... if their sale is final, I dont see the diff of buying it from ebay.

I was close to buying a plasma (display model) from them. They were pretty upfront about the as-is policy with me. I kept waiting to buy it as it went down about $100 each day until someone else jumped on it. Most everything else I saw there was marked up so much it was still cheaper at Best Buy's full retail.
