(AP)- A 40-year-old female has been found dead in a machine at a Southern California food processing plant Tuesday.
Investigators have found the employee’s death to be accidental. The Pasadena Star-News quoted Craig Harvey, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Coroner, as saying that Ana Maria Vital of La Puente "sustained crushing injuries by some boxing machinery after attempting to remove a box that had been lodged in the machinery." Golden State Foods, located in the City of Industry, is a major supplier for McDonald’s restaurants, having developed the secret sauce for the Big Mac in the 1960’s dont worry she didnt become part of the meat in your big mac lol..

Yeah, I remember when I worked at Longs Drugs. I was terrified of the box crushing machine in the back. Be careful with those things.

I saw that yesterday, all I could think of is how happy I am I don't eat fast food. How upsetting for the person that found her. Sad.

my ex-roommate used to be a security guard there, he enjoyed the free sodas all day long.....its right down the street.
very sad tragedy indeed... You guys know Golden State Foods also distribute to Chipotle right?
