What Kind Of Dog Should I Get?

I've wanted a dog since I was super young but my parents would never get me one.

I'm almost 19 now and have solid income to afford a dog. So I'm just going to buy a dog and bring it home and my parents can deal with the fact I have a new buddy lol

It needs to be relatively small, I can't deal with a dog that can whoop my ***.
Needs to be super loyal, that's what I love most about dogs.

I have been looking at some English bulldogs and Pugg crosses but lean more towards the Bulldogs because they are super chillin.

I have also considered dashunds because they are cute as hell.

Any suggestions?

French Bulldog is an oxymoron.
If you don't want something big and not so common (like a pug), I'd go with the English Bully, or even a Staffordshire. Bully's are awesome, but the Frenchies are the Diet Coke of Bullys.
Depending on where you are, there may be an English Bulldog rescue society you can rescue one from. There is one in the Seattle area that I know of.

Pug!!!!

Playing devil's advocate here: You still live at home? (It would be different if you had your own place). It's still your parents house/their rules. Have you been forbidden to bring one home? What about when you're not at there? Would you expect your parents to take care of it?

Look at all sides of the picture. Once you have an animal, that's a good 12-ish years of commitment.

My mom brought two ferrets home and I am expected to take care of them when she isn't around so I don't really care. I am just going to keep bugging them about it.

French bulldogs are cute but if I were to get a bulldog I'd want it to be a beast. So english is the only way to go. I like Boston Terriers as well.

I originally wanted a Rotty or a boxer but they are a little on the big side. I couldn't imagine a great dane or mastiff.

Guy that lives across from me has a collie something cross and that dog is retarded. He runs into trees and stuff lol super cute fun dog though, he's probably 12 now.

My Mom would kick the bull terrier out for sure, they are sick dogs though.

I go on the humane society website like once a week and check out any new dogs they get.

Btw, josh. Just realized you have the same wheels as me!
