Sorry to say but it seemed like the rep lied to you, almost always when ever a phone is discounted or BOGO there is a contact usually tied to it. I use to work for VZW for 7 years and seen some shady stuff done by reps to gets some commission.

You may be able to get a out of warranty exchange, they will exchange it with a FRU AKA a refurbished phone of the same make for a $50 fee i am not entirely sure if this is still correct just head down to a store with techs there and talk with them

Just downloaded the new os for the BB Storm. Whats supposed to be the biggest change? I just see minor changes, but nothing spectacular.

they took that away only times you gt frus now is when its in warranty they are pushing hard now on the assurion and assurion is jacking prices up and making it x2 as hard to get a replacement

Assurion sucks a$$ they send out some $hitty refurbs sometimes and i have had issue's with there customer service also

the biggest change for me has been speed. I can actually go from vertical to horizontal view and not have time to take a crap in between. Also the keys in texts actually work when you press them, not 5 seconds later. Before this updating i was rebooting using quickpull lite every five hours or so the memory leak was so bad. Today I woke up and my app. mem. was 29.3, I have used almost every app in my phone over the last 3 hours including listening to music, and my app. mem. is now ay 29.1. Honestly I am surprised it has dropped that much. While this update isnt perfect, it appears to have fixed the memory leak issue.

Very few markets. The iPhone is available in almost 100 countries. I think that pretty much makes it a world wide hit.

The US is not even on the map when it comes to cell phones. I think we're somewhere up in the 70's-80's in terms of number of cellphones per capita. I seriously doubt Apple will bother to make a CDMA version of their phone which would, no doubt, cannibalize some sales away from att at least in this country. It makes 0 sense for them to have a CDMA and a GSM version in the same country when they're selling millions on GSM alone with people switiching to att left and right. It would also mean a cut in their profits with all the necessary development for CDMA and so on.

Either way, Verizon would've probably messed up the iPhone with their garbage apps and firmware mods and thank God Apple stayed away from them. The fact that they're getting Andriod means absolutely nothing. Android is barely catching up/on, years after the iPhone came out. What do you think is going to happen when the next iPhone comes out....Droid can't do.

Yea for some reason all these BB OS's have memory leaks. They can only minimize it. 5.0 is doing that well. Its alot faster then 4.7 OS

tell me about it i like to offer my customers Protectcell its only a $50 deductabile and a $50 premium and it gets you a new phone instead of a refurbished on plus customer service is a worlds diffrent

time will tell what verizon will do when it comes to iphones or similar but at the end of the day its all about what makes the money come in it could be a pager as long as it makes money thats all that they care about and that means people screwed

Are you asking about a landline or cell phones?

*77 only works in a few states, and I don't think California is one of them. *69 is a feature only for landlines. It's worthless anyways since all cell phones have caller ID unless the other party dialed *82 to block their number from caller ID or just has their number set up like that.
