I'm doing the research and am seriously considering trading my 04 G35 Coupe for an 08 M35. The dealers near me still have a load of 07s, so I'm sitting low until that supply is almost gone. I like the new revamping of the rear and front and feel that this body style should be around until the 2010 changes. I'm expecting the bigger engine in 09 but we have to expect changes all the time. The M35 has enough power for my needs. My G35 Coupe is super fast but I never get on it anyway. I'm looking forward to a quieter ride and won't miss sitting on the ground. Iwish there was more activity on the M forums, but most are fairly quiet.

Well...I guess this is as good a place as any to do a formal introduction.
My name is Ilya, I am 21, and have been working in the IT sector for 4 years now. I just put my low mileage (72k) 1999 Maxima SE (pictures | for sale ad) up for sale on saturday and expect to be purchasing a new car in the early part of spring.
My current choices are 2008 G35xS, 2009 G37xS, or M35/45 (probably sport or maybe X). From my browsing of cars.com and autotrader.com...I can get any of these used (slightly - 10-20k) for around 30k-35k. Thing is, if I get the M...I WANT (really really want) the reclining rear seats and DVD system. I believe that is the premium package?
With either car, I want to purchase one with EVERY option.
So, that is my plan. I am leaning heavily towards the M rather than the G...but we'll see...I expect to be in an M by the end of spring 2009.

I currently have a 06 G35 coupe and a 03 Acura CL S 6spd. I'm looking to trade the Acura and get a used M35/45 (we need one four door car).
Do people with M35 wish they got the M45 instead for the extra power?
I haven't driven the M35 but figured since it's the same V6 as my coupe and more weight to move. It may seem slow.
Are there any issues that I should be looking for when picking up one of these used?
Thanks,
John

What up M owners??? I am Taylor and reside in Tennessee and I am 19. I have had my Black 2006 M35 Sport for about 2 months now and really want to begin the modding process. I live in Nashville and have been in the VIP scene with my former car, 2000 Lexus GS300. Now I begin the M.
My plans originally were to just do coilovers and space out the stock wheels to give a look that the vehicle is stock but then again slammed. Now I am thinking about buying 20 inch Kranze Vishnu wheels. These wheels are very expensive, so it will probably take me a while. But every car is a new piece of work in progress!!!!
