Yes. I've done it twice before. It does not give you that 5000 dollar prossional finish, but I can't decide on a color so I dip it and give some colors a shot. Ten when I widebody the car I will know what color I want it to be. Dip looks good if you do It right. If done wrong you get bubbles, flakes, streaks, etc. but I'm dipping it brown to try it out and the dip and go company has an additive that gives it a smoother finish and I'm trying it out as well.

Great build. I would give the pastidip idea a thumbs down but seeing your build I'm sure you'll make it look good. In for progress. Great stuff so far

This is the car I was talking wheels with about. Since I'm so unsure on colors and all that, I don't know when I'll be purchasing O and since I'm going widebody I don't want to drop 5k on wheels now and 5k later.

Ya dip has a lot of bad rep. I use it a lot because I can't pick a color. Most of the people you see dip their cars are not doing it good at all. Ill use it, if I don't like it ill peel it. Simple as that.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. It's been a long build. I can't wait to get it on the road. I'm still a few months out from that day though.

Appreciate it bro. I'm waiting on my belts and radiator still. Engine is going back together end of the month. Most of the interior will be done by the next month. At least it will be in driving condition. The rest probably end of the year. Builds take a long time. Brownie you will like my color though coco brown.

Anyone off chance know the bolt size on the alternator. I don't feel like buying 6 sockets guessing.

Just got my unorthodox pulleys on except for one, grounding kit installed, waiting on belts, koyo radiator, and z1 hoses, gt spec front tie rod coming. Those will go on really soon. Trying to figure out how to route the turbo ac hose. I'm kinda at a loss on it. I don't really feel like removing the turbo... It if I have to I will.

The bolt on top of the water pump, and for the pulley on the alternator are both 24mm. What do yo mean by AC hose, is you turbo water cooled?
