Dual Rings

Hey everyone, thought I'd share my new taillights I had Sean over at Toxic Tails do. This is also my first thread too that's not in the market place.

Dual COB rings
This is the first set of G35 taillights Toxic Tails got to work on.

Wow, your tail lights look sick!

I'm jealous lol. Been wanting to do this myself but the fear of something going awry is holding me back. Would he be willing to do more of these?

I know huh! I can't stop drooling over it.

At first, I had one OEM JDM and one with the COB rings. Every one said one of my tail lights were out including a cop. My theory on that is that since my OEM JDM ones were so bright it out shinned the COB rings. My girlfriend thought the same but I guess people didn't realize that they were also different tail lights. I finally put both on, had the G parked with the sun reflecting and glaring off the taillight. Pressed the brakes and had my friend look from behind. He said they were bright enough and the ambers stood out the most.

It took a couple of months, it was his first G35 taillight. It's very risky since you have to cut the tail lights open.

Thanks! If only I could have someone drive my car and I follow along just to look at them haha

The scary and risky part is cutting open the tail lights. He's done mine so next time should be a lot easier. At first he said no more, too much work but reconsidered.

Looks cool. I have a tail light mod similar that I'm planning in the future. I wish you did it yourself so i can get some insight on the wiring...
