Car looks great!

What headlights are those??? Does it have the LED running light/DTL strip on the outside edges of the headlights?

No, sir. Those are completely stock '06 projectors.

I think you're just seeing the reflection of the big city lights of Vegas. Haha

You know that old saying...whatever sparkles in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

"Whatever 'happens(?)' In Vegas stays in Vegas"? Besides, I'm long gone. Went thru Zion, now in Kanab, UT and next stop is Buckskin Gulch, then the Grand Canyon! May have to give my car a Chicano wash soon.

Man, I'm seriously confused. I read a post on this forum that said the 06 coupes came with HID projectors while the sedans did not.

All I know is, my 06 sedan headlights are HIDs, but they look different than your unit. In the Zion pic, it shows that you have some kind of bar or strip that runs height-wise from top to bottom on the outside edge of your headlight, looks like it follows the fender line. Mine does not have that. I see some with that bit, and some without.

Yours looks similar to this one:

Looks good. I love Utah and its State and National parks. Zion rocks. Especially on two wheels.

That would be fun! My gf took some video out of the sunroof going thru the canyon. It's actually really cool. I'll have to upload it when I get home.

Yes, mine are the same as the one in the link. Coupes had projectors 06/7, and sedans never had projectors. The sedans could be had with HID reflectors, but the sedan headlights are a completely different shape.

Ok, that makes a lot of sense. Thank you for clarifying that info! It's a real bummer that the headlight designs are different between coupe and sedan.ItIt seems Igotgot lucky withmymy headlights having hids.I'llI'll have to check toconfirmconfirm whether they are reflector orprojectorsprojectors.MyMy gut says projectorfrom what I recalled seeing. If that's the case then that would mean they were retrofitted, correct?

Please post your vid btw. I plan to ride through there on my bike 1 day!

Ok I was able to look at the car closely, you are correct, they are HID reflectors. I overlooked the dome as a projector. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

I'll make do without any of the LED stuff for now. Just not worth messing with as those options are pricey.

Your car looks gorgeous. I have a fair bit of cosmetic flaws I need to address. Any idea where I should start?
