Regarding wheels (and most car mods)

- Can be Good and Cheap, but they will not be Light
- Can be Good and Light, but they will not Cheap
- Can be Light and Cheap, but they certainly will not be Good.

Basically pick 2 of the three choices. Similar to (Good, Fast, Cheap) holds up for everything you buy.

When I swapped my 17" 6 spoke 23 lb stockers for the 18lb 5Zigens, it felt like the G accelerates so much quicker. The light weight wheels are like a Horsepower increase. The heavier wheels will make your G feel much slower.
Lighter is better!

Are the ADR M sports heavy? I'm assuming they are since they are cast 1 piece and cheaper.

Ok, I'm crazy but I decided to change my mind. Love the ADR's but figured if I'm spending the money, might as well drop a little more. So I figured I could do 2500 for wheels and tires. I've seen a lot of volks racing for 2500 on here so I would love to get me a pair of them. I just want a higher end rim so I can feel safer and also have a more reputable company. Give me some ideas!!!

They are nice but not really my style. Anyone know anything else I could get something for 1900 just for rims??? being that the other 600 would be on tires

There are of course exceptions. I picked up a set of OZ cronos on special from tirerack in 18X8 that weighed 19lbs and only ran $275 a wheel shipped. Is it the best looking wheel, no way but I like simple 5 spoke designs. Looks aside it fulfilled my wants of a lighter and slightly wider than my 18X7.5 sport package wheels and would not cost very much. I live in an area where I consider the roads rough and they have held up with any issue.

I always liked OZ rims. They have lower end rims and some higher priced ones as well so it appeals to different buyers. I just want that middle end wheel you know? I don't want Ebay rims and I can't afford Iforged or DPE rims. Something in between that would appeal to someone like me looking to spend 2500 max for wheels and tires

Enkei RPM2's are cheap and light. My 18x8's (+35) weigh about 18 lbs each and they cost around $250 each. Enkei makes good wheels, not quite Volk good, but good.

I am a little biased, but I have had other much more expensive wheels and I am happy.

They are extremly nice. Honestly, I would get them if they had them in size 19 and had a lip. Those are the only things holding me back from them

what does everyone think of Enkei RP03??? Pretty simple but sporty. Just what I am looking for. Different than the mesh style but I like these a lot. Just wish they had a lip!!! I would go for the 19x8.5+42 offset (they either come in 22 or 42) wrapped in a 245/40/19 Falken FK-452's. I don't plan on dropping so do you think I would have any problems at all with rubbing??? Here's a pic and I appologize if this is anyones G

Enkei that a nice JDM brand wheel they are a lot more sportier than the ADR's doubt if they are just as cheap though but yes they are nice. You might be interested in the SSR brand as well if you're looking at Enkei.
