congrats man! i'm sure it'll sound sick. if either the borla or stillen had a polished muffler, i'd consider a new exhaust. i just like how the HKS is nice and shiny for people behind me haha

Nice exhaust man. I wish there were some sedans around here with aftermarket exhaust... all I have to go by are YouTube videos... which suck.

I've always been a fan of Borlas on other cars, but I've never heard them on a VQ (or at least, not known it... I've heard some really sick sounding coupes drive by in the past, but didn't know what they were running)

Shop? Even my used one was pretty easy to install. New would be simple as the pipe ends aren't all crushed etc.

I suspect it's quieter than the Stillen (just from reading) but it's going to drone. You know my thoughts and solution to that.

Let me know what you think of it. It's funny that it gets quieter and the RPM rises.

After reading the S2K thread and looking at my craftsman jack + stand I decided to pass

My HKS had drone, so I'm not too worried, I just wanted some noise because this is the car I'm gonna be reving in the garage 12am at night after a long day at work haha. I might do the X pipe section down the line with some added flex sections, I hope it doesn't rattle.

My 2 cents is that Tony at MD knows his stuff. His products usually are better performing compared to competing products. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any MD product. It would be nice to see an independent dyno showing the gains so we can compare it to the Borla and others.

Has there been any independent before/after dynos of the MD exhaust yet?

Borla and Stillen have proven performance gains, thats not to say that MD has no performance gains, no one's dynoed one yet. And I really wanted to see what the buzz of true dual is all about
oh, I see... yeah I misunderstood...

I've been waiting for sedan dyno too... I'm not sure there will be gains over Stillen - but I'd be interested.
