Its been years since I last posted on this forum. Here is an update of what the car currently looks like. Went from black to a satin dark charcoal grey vinyl wrap with gloss black roof, satin black chrome delete and 30% tint all around and smoked tail lights. Car has 180K no major maintenance thus far. Not bad for a 15 year old car!

Car's holding up great!
How expensive is a wrap vs painting the whole car?

Here in a rural part of California I had everything above done for $1400. I got three quotes for paint ranging from $4k - $5.5K. KBB w/ Very Good rating, private party value is $4,300. My line of work requires me to have a presentable vehicle and the clear coat was gone on the roof and hood. Mechanically my car has never had any major issues. The wrap, with excellent care will last up to 10 years, with poor care, 3 years. That's also about the time frame I want to hang onto the car.

Your car looks really good.
My GS400 needs some work and I'm contemplating whether I should stay with it or pickup another G and mod that instead.
You guys are giving me some great ideas for sure.
