looks good and sounds good, but I think the exhaust settles in it should sound alot different. I am pretty sure of that b/c my friend got the Tanabe for his IS300 and it sounds alot different when he first got it.

Thanks, man... I agree with you... the rear neds some kind of overlay. I'm actually planning on getting the CF version of th rear overlay that UGA is working on once it is done.

Yeah... I'm just starting to realize this... I've now got about 150 miles on the exhaust now and it is starting to get a little bit louder and a little deeper as well. I just hope it doesn't get too loud... I love the way it sounds right now. LOL

Thanks, Mark! Nice to have another local G in the Tanabe Medalion crowd (although I'm jealous you've got a mid-pipe too ). Let me know how the install goes, and definitely try to post some before and after pics / videos, once you get it on! Can't wait to hear it at the meet on the 19th!!!!

Next for me, after I install the Berks, will be a custom mid-pipe.

OK... Finally posting some before and after pics with the Tanabe NF210 springs.

I've now driven the car over 400 miles (most with multiple passengers) over the past week and here are the final drop number:

LF: .85"
RF: .80"
LR: .75"
RR: .80"

So, basically, I saw about a .80 - .90" drop in the front and about a .70 - .80" drop in the rear. While this didn't eliminate all of the wheel-well gap, it got rid of about half of it... I'll take sme new measurements in a few days and see if they've settles any more and then post my results.

Awesome drop!! very niceeeeee

I wonder why your drop looks very balanced while the other guy who had his car dropped on tanabe's wasnt. The front of his looked much higher than the rears.

Did you put the spring booster on yours?

Thanks, Wes. I keep expecting the rear to settle more, but it hasn't. I even made a bunch of sales calls this week with a heavy catalog case in the trunk and a rear passenger, but it seems to be holding petty even in the rear. I think the other person must have the other Tanabe springs. The NF210's that I have are very new, but Tanbe also has a sport version, DF210's I think, that lowers the car 1.5" in the rear, so I'm wondering if that's what he has?

What's funny is Tanabe lists these same NF210 springs fo the G37 coupe, but they claim only a .70" drop in the rear and the same 1" drop in the front. According to Eibach, if you use sedan springs in a coupe, then the drop will be the same in the front, but about .20" less in the rear, so if this is correct, then this would mean that these Tanabe's should really only drop the rear about .90" (and 1" in the front), which is pretty close (within .10 - .15") to what I'm seeing.

Nope, no boosters or isolators yet... just the springs with the factory rubber isolators. I actually ordered some 3/8" thick spring isolators from Energy Suspension to use on the top of the spring along with the factory isolators in the rear, but I haven't received them yet. Now I'm wondering if I'll actually need them or not.

Yup.. I'm very happy with the drop so far.. It's not too extreme and the front lip will still clear most parking blocks, which was my main concern when the wife drives the car. LOL

I'm just not so sure how I like the ride yet. Since the springs are progressive, they actually feel "softer" than the stock srings and I'm not sure I like that. There also seems to be a little bit more bounce when I go over expenson joints, etc... on the highway at high speeds. They do handle well, though, and combined with the Hotchkis bars, lean is virtually nonexistant now. I'm wondering if maybe I just need to get used to them?
