Excellent touch up spray paint.

Well some D-bag stole my towhook cover and scratched the paint on the bumper in the process.
The front bumper is full of chips already but I don't need some idiot to help it along.
Anyway I ended up buying a new unpainted tow hook cover and decided to try this touch up paint.
Automotive Touchup - http://www.automotivetouchup.com/
I selected my base coat color and then the clear coat gloss.
It couldn't be easier to use and it looks like a paint shop did it.
Figured I'd share with u guys.

I used VERY light sanding.
I think it was over 800 grit, I'll have to check when I get home.
Just light enough so the primer would adhere.
I initially sanded too hard and it left grooves which showed up in the paint,
so I had to resand "lightly" to get the grooves out and make sure it was smooth before repainting.

Primer
3 coats base
4 coats clear

Damn that looks good! Which size did you get? the 12oz can?

My tow hook had a lil black spot on it when I got it, and I used those touch up paint/pen from infiniti but it looked like ****/didn't blend in. Think I might do this.

edit: is that the home depot lip you have one btw?

I eventually might, but that's gonna take a helluva lot more prep.
Don't want to get any overpray on the other panels either.
