Hey lance, i might be doing something you told me not to do, by buying an Audi

As a beater though. put in an offer of 4k this morning to a guy selling a 99 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro 5spd. 107k miles. Silver with grey leather.

Fun car to slap some snow tires on and rip around in, in the snow!

I don't think I'm going to do the roof just because I don't have enough dynamat left over and I don't want to spend any more money than I already have.

Great minds think alike Some people have just put it in the doors and say it makes a big difference in road noise reduction.

Does that add any weight at all? I guess i'm not sure how the material looks like or much about it for that matter other than it makes the car quiter!!!

Also, i'd assume that to make a big difference in noise reduction, you'd have to do it for the whole interior and not just few parts!!! I could be totally off on that though

The material is pretty thick and it does have some weight to it but its not THAT bad, I'm not using a lot just some in a few areas like by the fenders in the rear, eventually I'd like to do the door too but thats gonna have to wait til another day.

UPDATE: Just finished covering the rear upper window pillars in suede, covered the whole headliner in suede, painted my window visors and all other pieces of the interior. I still need to wrap my A Pillar in suede and my Sunroof than I'll be all set, I'll hopefully have some pix for you guys tonight

Let me tell you guys that this project is NOT EASY! lol so much work to wrap the rear panels because the suede doesn't stretch the way the panel is formed so it took me forever but I've got it almost all done I'm gonna go home early from work today and finish it all hopefully have some pix for you guys by later this evening!!

Mike and I have declared that in a year we will both be selling our G35s and picking up Audis. He wants the V6 A4 and i want the V8 S4 then we will be joining eurowerks lol

Janik, you lie and you know it! Your G will forever be in your family. On a sidenote, The new Taurus SHO would really intrigue me if I could get past the fact that it's a Taurus. Otherwise: AWD twin turbo v6 ->365hp/350tq 0-60-> 5.0 1/4 mile ->13.0

Heres some pix of my suede headliner, sorry for the really crappy pix I was tired as hell after doing this and didn't "brush" the suede before taking the pictures thats why it looks like theres fingerprints everywhere lol. I can assure you guys that this is BLACK but the flash makes it look kinda funny.
