Rock Creek Park Meet

I was running in Rock Creek Park this morning and besides the rain it was beautiful, it's been years since i've been through there. So i saw that you can make reservations for the picnic areas on there and the picnic areas have pretty big parking lots so i'm thinking of maybe setting up a meet out there for around august. but before i started planning this out i wanted to know what the intrest would be from NGC that's why i'm starting early. and if any had any suggestion i could hear them. THX

Rock Creek Park runs through DC and into Montgomery County. I will be hosting a Capital SHO BBQ in Rock Creek Park in August as we do every summer.

If the NGC picnic/BBQ doesn't conflict, I'm certainly down.

It's in D.C. and no my car got backed into this past weekend at a gas station.

Yes it's in D.C.

To give time in advance so hopefully more poeple will free and we'll have a pretty good attendence, and also gives alot of time for planning and input from everyone.

I'm thinking august 1st for the date it's a saturday and maybe try to make it like a family and friends of NGC to get our families and friends to come out and have a good time.

If this is in deep DC I'm not in and if it's parallel parking I'm out as well....Too many times dumb people hit something not being able to parallel or not leaving enough space.

You already know I dislike DC off the muscle..But if there's decent parking and it's in a decent area I suppose I'm down if I'm off
