Did you buy it new and did you get a FAST 102 or a 90? Where did you get it from? I am scrounging around on LS1tech for a used one.

What heads are you going with? I got a set of 243s with plans of having them ported later down the road. BTW if you are getting 243s make sure they are the ones with the triangle casting cooling marks they produce 5-6 more HP than non-marked heads.

nope I picked up a FAST 78MM With ported throttle body Fast Fuel Rails, injectors, ports for Nitrous off ebay. People as still asking 1000-1200 for the FAST 102 or 90mm intake manifold itself thats just to damn much IMO. Precision Race Components Stg. 1 LS6 Heads & Cam Package

http://www.texas-speed.com/p-1160-pr...m-package.aspx

my power output is only going to be around 400-420 ish which is fine for me personally.....i am not going ***** to walls right now. my ls block also has an upgrade underdriven pulley.

Rods also and already picked up ls6 ported oil pump. Picked up 36lb injectors yesterday. Made a really good contact that has deeper discounts than Texas speed. Sometimes 2-300 cheaper than some.

hey bro, been reading the thread and keeping up with your progress. hope all is good. I'm also working on a swap but opted for the lq iron block for strength. I cheated though and ordered mine from a ls specialist (not lazy, just not sure of myself to rebuild from scratch, lol) . I went with options that put me around 525 hp. Anyway wanted to say good luck and keep up the posts.

Well, the LS2 is a 6.0L and LS6 is a 5.7L, but they have alot of interchangeable parts with LS6 stuff being alot better than the LS1 stuff and improvements with the LS2 stuff over LS6 stuff. The heads between the LS6 and LS2 are exactly the same parts and set up.

The 90mm TB is a vast improvement over the 78mm TB on the original LS6. The LS6 corvette motor was drive by wire like the LS2 is.

I will also be using an LS2/LS6 Valley cover and an LS2 front cover (has cam sensor in front of motor instead of in the back) and LS2 timing chain which is stronger the the LS6 chain.

Also, should have an update later today with pictures.
