G35 vs Civic SI
My friend is right here with me right now..He just bought a 06 Civic SI and he keeps on going on & on about how his SI can smoke my car 1/4 mile & 0-60 times. I keep on telling him nah nah you cant...Then he says my G is heavy like sh!t. So he told me to post here to get your opinion on what you guys think.

lol is he serious? no civic stock would have even a good chance against our cars. according to msn autos, civic si's run 7.38 0-60 and 15.68 1/4 mile, i know our cars are somewhere in the 5's for 0-60. go here for the times on the civic si

LMAO... make sure your friend isnt on medication. Theres a reason why the g35 costs $16,000 more. Anyone who buys a civic obviously isnt into performance, or just has a tight budget.
Enough said, go prove to him how a G, a real car, can kick the hell out of the Civic.

i have a friend with an 06 Si.. as soon as he broke it in him and my rsx-s friend went at it just for fun to see what happens.. the rsx-s took it.. we crusied around alittle the other day (went to the beach) and on the way there he punched it at around 60 and i did too shortly after him and pretty much walked him like.. eh a civic.. lol so no he wont beat u.. to keep it simple.. no racing is required.. just give him a ride to 3rd gear and all will be said and done

The Civic is not a POS and a fairly fast car for the price, but come on. GET REAL!
I like them, but there is no comparison. It is a different world all together. Oh yeah and quarter mile times 2006 Honda Civic SI 7.2 15.1 (Edmonds) 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe 5.5 14.2 That is over a full second HELLO. Last edited by realgone; 06-09-2006 at 03:50 AM.
