New sportscar to buy. Any opinions?

I am thinking of either getting an M6 (black/black), Porsche GT3 (997) Black,black, Or the C6 Z06 Black/black.

What are your opinions on these cars?

The reason I am asking your opinions is because I like all of them. Im gonna have to wait till my dealership gets a 997 GT3 before I talk prices with him.

If you want your heart stuck in your throat type of performance or change your tighty whity before you get out of it, everytime? Z06 should be your choice, but most ppl would think Z06 isnt refined enough, I dont think M6 is worth or looks like an 100k car but that just me.

Id say get the porche. You will have a well balanced machine in your hands that not many can match. Not even BMW in my opinion.

Do you plan on modding this car? If so, what are your plans? Track car, show car, street car, etc...

Track - id get the GT3
Show - M6 for sure...throw on a kit & some nice wheels n BAM - your set!
Street- ZO6 + APS Twin Turbo (yes they make a C6 kit) = 700whp

IMHO, you cant go wrong with any of these cars...

I would say Porsche GT3 (if you really have the money) or M6

The M6 is not a sports car. It's a performance luxury GT. It's way too heavy and large to ever be considered a sports car.

IMO, the M6 is not in the same category as the GT3 or Z06, which are true sports cars.

The GT3 is an awesome track car, but its extremely expensive for what you get. It's also expensive to modify, and expensive to maintain. I would only recommend it if you happen to love Porsches, love the Super Beetle look of them, and have money to burn.

The Z06 is at least an equivalent performer on the track compared to the 997 GT3, and faster than a GT3 on higher speed tracks where you can unleash it's 505hp. You're certainly not giving up any performance with a Z06 compared to a GT3. The Z06 is more brutal of a car to drive than the GT3 because of its much higher HP output and torque, with similar weight to the GT3. The car is a beast, and not everyone enjoys driving beasts. There have been many new Z06 owners who foolishly bought the car without test driving it or ever driving even a 400hp car much less a 505hp car, then sold it soon after opening it up because it scared the $ h it out of them. But, it offers the best bang for the buck by far, and also offers a bunch of luxury features that you can't even get in a GT3. It's very serious performance with minimal compromise. But, not for everyone.

problem with the z06 is dealers are on crack.. 90k or 80k for a z06 when they list for 65kish. you should be able to get one for 60k but the dealers are *** raping people. and they are actually paying it.. phuck chevy
