Porsche = Rattles?

My business partner is considering a Carrera 4 for his next car and he borrowed a friends 05 yesterday to see if he liked it. We went for lunch and I could not believe the creaks and rattles. I don't know if that is normal, but I could not own a car like that. I cannot remember the last car I was in that had so many unpleasant noises. The positive points of this car would never make up for these noises, for me anyway. I really wonder if this is common.

wow, this is my first time hearing of this. That being said, I am not a porche specialist to any extent, but have only heard good things about its build and refinement. *shrugs* thats weird to hear.

I don't think its normal. While I have heard several new Porsche owners complaining of rattles, it doesn't seem to be a common problem.

This one is a cabriolet. Perhaps that is part of the problem, but the rattles all seem to be coming from the dash and doors.
