Beautiful car... but they couldn't pick a more stand-out colour than brown/bronze/ca-ca than this for the press pix???

I don't think it looks better than the coupe, but it sure is a hell of a lot faster and with more toys to play with.

I think it looks better with the hardtop. Without it, all the ackward design angles jump out IMO. Maybe that's just me because I'm not a fan of convertibles.

BMW is capable of allot more than this................I don't like it, nothing on this car that would grab my attention, nothing that makes you remember the image , it's just average, Cost alllllllllot of $$$$$$$$$$ but all you get is BMW logo with nice wheel attached to it.

+ a luxury convetable that is capable of 200+ mph and sub 13s 1/4 mile. But i agree i would take the M5 over the M6 any day.

Eh I have never been a fan of convertible M cars, but this one completely defeats the purpose. The M6 was marketed as the hardcore, lightweight version of the V10 motor in the M5. In reality they charge you $15K more for the CF parts, because the M6 coupe is hardly any lighter, not to mention completely impractical because the backseat is no more useful than that in a G35c. Now this M6 cab is a 4100lb, $120K BMW (not including markup) that looks just like a regular 6-series cab from 50 feet away or from the side if you saw it on the road. I guess, if the sleeper look is your thing... but for that kind of money I'd be over at the Aston or Porsche dealer.
