Exclamation g35 vs s2000 race .my race .story

hey guys i know most of you are against racing but alot of you love my stories with various cars

no this is not another 645 story.,....

so i was coming to a red light when my car died on me (injen intake)
i have an automatic 04 coupe..... then pulls up to me a convertible s2000 6mt

he hears me start the car and he starts reving his engine. i look at him and he looks back and we go. we got to 110 mph on a huge open street. i was a car length ahead of him in the begining ...then i switched gears on manual mode and i started to loose him.

after smoking him he pulls up to me and says holly **** you are definitly not stock... i told him i have very minor mods. he said it was the first time he lost to a g35 coupe.

he claims that an s2000 is much lighter and can beat a g35 coupe or a z ...i beg to differ... was my car doing well or do s2000 really blow

can an s2000 really take one of us?

stock for stock with a very well driven s2k its POSSIBLE depending where you are going from.
from a dead stop its hard for the s2k b/c of the powerband but from a roll in the right rpm/gear its possible. this is stock for stock and my experiences. w/ some mods in my old z (2003) ive beaten quite a few. but it comes down to driver and speed

That's not surprising.....I smoked a modified s2000 about three weeks ago.......we were going from about 60 all the way up to 140ish on a long flat abandoned bridge. Pulled on him the whole time and he was a good driver. Pulled about 5 cars on him. We're both manual, he's fairly modded, I'm stock, except the exhaust......dude was like -------> lol His girlfriend even has a clip of it....dang our G's look freakin' sexy when we're running! hahahah

Never lost to one. Never raced one either. Street racing is for morons and fan boys who don't know who both their parents are.. Keep it up, and with any luck you'll get yours.

Have a nice day.

From my personal experience, I've run at the 1/4 mile track with several stock s2k's and they seem to pull the same times as my G35 6mt with ztube/jwtpopcharger. It's probably driver skill here. Since you are auto, it's probably due to his driver skill whether he could have beaten you.

S2k is not about power though... in winding roads, we have no chance of keeping up.

a well driven S2k should beat a G35 and Z..but very close! on top of that, not that many people can really drive their S2k that well. its very different when drving a S2k compare to a high hp/torq car.
i think its more of a driver's race ..but Z and G35 are REALLY heavy pigs. if G35 can lose about 300 or so lbs.. we be superstars..lol. then i would say we be in the M3 league of accerlation with our stock 300hp.
its much easier to drive our cars fast with the gobs of torq compare to s2k..u really have to push it HAAARD and shift VERY well to beat us Gs or Zs.
under normal conditions with us normal drivers, i would say G/Z should beat s2k most of the time.
however, when it comes to handling..S2k is in another league. it will blow by Z/G even M3 on twisties.

He was lying

I have a friend that owns a S2000 and he told me he stays away from Gs and Zs.

^ then ur friend is a puss..lol. who cares if one is faster than other..its all about driver skills. just have fun while been safe, so what if you lose?
you win some you lose some.
i have a vid with an S2k pull HAAARD on a G35C...and pull away EVERYTIME. does it mean much? its all about driver skills.
