there's no place in the article stating what types of cars were on the ship... it just states that "The 654-foot Cougar Ace, which was carrying nearly 5,000 cars from Japan to Canada, had rolled practically onto its side."... possibly nissans and infinitis were on there too...

I think all the cars must be insured before they leave from japan.

Never been a fan of Toyota/Lexus, good place for em

I just hope the crew makes it out ok, I really cant imagine much worse than being straded at (or in) sea in those rough waters.

If you do a search on the Cougar Ace, you'll find that it regularally carried Lexus / Toyotas, sometimes mitsubishis. Read today that the crew are all safe.....

Didn't BMW lose a ship of cars a little while back in the atlantic?
