Porsche Panamera - Blend a Cayman & Maxima.
When the Cayenne came out, the automobile world was polarized - furious Porsche fanatics banged their head against the cement while soccer moms in Southern California weiled in excitement. It's like a brand name designer handbag with 5 doors and 4 wheels. No one cared if it looked like a mutated Sea Lion. The Cayenne will no longer be the lonely soul resided in the Porsche Fanatic Rejected Lounge come 2008. A spy shot in Germany captured what seemed to be a Porsche Cayman slowly being forged into a Nissan Maxima at the rear end.
The rear cabin looks like it can hold basketball players and a rear trunk/spoiler design that will make the BMW 6 series look like a beauty queen. Excited yet? Personally I rather look into the BMW 335 or the next G35 sedan. Last edited by Sukairain; 09-14-2006 at 07:35 PM.

hmmmm... does look pretty nasty... but i bet u it'll haul a$$... and run circles around our cars. hell, the cayenne can already handle as well as a Z.

^^^ ???? That's a new pic and it's still in development. Looks fugly to me but it will probably make Porsche fists full of money. The Cayenne is not all that great looking either but it sold well.

Yeah, i remember seeing this in a magazine at the hair stylist about 2 years ago....old pic. The picture in the magazine looked a hell of alot better.
If you think about it though porsche is doing this so they can maximise their profit so they can come out with better technology in their actual sports cars....

I remember seeing pics/sketches of it before as well but I thought this pic was new. I saw an article on Autoblog yesterday with this pic giving the impression that it was new.

Supposedly this is the 'newest' spy shot of the vehicle. The speculation CG picture that showed up in the last couple of years looked much prettier than this new *actual product* photo.
