Thumbs up Bought my son a new 07 Civic Coupe

Well my son got into an accident last week and instead of getting the car fix we traded the damn thing last night. I must admit this car is sweet the interior of this thing is better looking than the G. Hands down it's one of the best looking interior for this price range. It has decent power 30-40 mpg is not bad at all and suspension is tight can handle bumps pretty well. It has a very quite interior considering the car is small. The sound system is better than before but it still needs help. The controls and guages is well laid out, elctroluminecent tach and digital speedo blue and red accent lights on the dash. Got the white with tan interior I'm already shopping for a set of rims for it to complete the look. The SI was rediculously expensive there was a 4K markup on it. For 26-27k I rather fork up a few more and get the S2K. Anyways, I'm very please with the car I don't mind getting one again should there be a need for it.

The new Civics are sweet, definitely the nicest in it's class IMO. I hope your son wasn't hurt badly in the accident.

Great little car, Glenn.....I have the Sedan as my second/winter ride, with a bunch of options but it's basicly the same.
As far as the sound system is concerned, check out the "Bass Works" System with Attachment and replacement rear speakers. (from Honda).
It really improves the sound -- you'll be impressed.....

Great choice. here's mine:

Just looked at one this weekend at the local Honda dealership. The lot had a number of 2006's remaining. They were blue, gray, silver and white. The white looks the best by far. I am thinking about replacing my second car with the new Civic as well. Ought to look good parked next to my black G.

Well this son of mine stays away from trouble goes to nursing school and has a job to support himself. I couldn't say the same for the other 2 so they don't get squat! I have no problem buying my kids anything, but it has to be justified. This son of mine just got accepted to the nursing school program and that alone is an accomplishment. I told him if he gets accepted then I'll go ahead and get him a new ride. If he graduates from nursing then I'll send him on trip to Europe for a month if he wants. This gives him motivation something to look forward to after all the hard work.

wow what a great dad !! im sure once he graduates nursing school he'll be the one buying you a car i was checking the SI here and granted that the dealers werent marking the msrp above by $4000 but there was a "premuim" above the msrp price with ridiculous "add ons" that were way over priced. guess its what one calls "supply and demand" ....

i have a 06EX myself. it's a great little ride. with a little help on the
front speakers and a small bazooka in the boot to fill the void, the
stereo actually sounds pretty good.

im going to probably do the HFP lowering kit (strut with springs) next
spring and do 17's.

this is by far the best civic ive driven so far out of the many gens ive
owned in the past. rides very smooth, nice tight radius turns, nimble
steering, quiet.

Very cool. Would you be willing to adopt a 38yo doctor? I'd like a trip to China and a F430.

Well I don't know do you deserve an F430 and trip to China? What good have you done lately? Did you clean your room, throw out the trash, took a bath and brush your teeth like you were told?
