I'm not kidding. I spoke to VRT and they said they could twin turbo the g35x, but it would cost upwards of 30K.

Are u crazy, the G is no match against an M5, doesn't matter if it is twin turbo or triple turbo. The M5 is 20 times better car.

Yeah. I felt the same way. Tempting as it sounds to have a G monster (not for value; but just to have it for the fun of it), I think I'm gonna go with the M5 instead.

it's not just the power either. i look at the whole package. if i just want speed... i can jump on my bike. the m5 is in a whole different class. it's like trying to compare a chevy cobalt to our cars. sure u can make it go faster... but like i said before... it's about the whole package. unless u don't care about that other stuff.

No - 35-40K for the G35, then an additional 30-35K for the upgrades. Total ~ 75k

ok then so did you call vtr first to ask about the $80k upgrades first and the first guy said it would be 80K also, and when we said that s a stupid question , you miraculously remember that he said upwards of 30k?

All I am saying is, if you have that type of money to spend, do you do something unique, or do you get the M5 :-P I put together an M5 on BMW's website, and I must say, it is one beautiful car. I am surprised that I hardly ever see any driving around...and not just because people can't afford it; i mean I see S500's/S550's everyday.

The problem here is just that you can't read what I wrote. I wrote above that 80K includes the price of the G plus the upgrades. Believe it or not, the G is not free.
