New issue of road and track and it has an artical of a 2008 toyota supra. it says that it might have a V-8 engine. but it will comean 3.0 V-6 engine. and price will be below 30,000 dollars about the price of a 350Z. At 350 hp at 7000 rpm. and 290 lb.-ft. of torque at 5000. and weighs 3200 lbs. It takes only 4.5 sec from 0 to 60

hmm...the red car pictured with 350hp, I find it hard to believe it can be below $30,000. The 350Z with a decent configuration is above $30k....the way I like it configured (Grand Touring) is $41k and I believe the convertible is even more than that

wait ur saying the new supra is around mid 30k? i thought the supra was going to take the lexus name as a the LF-X or something! wasnt the 93-98 supras way past 30k! i thought the car was like 50 or 60k super car!

Toyota has not made any... repeat, ANY... official annoucements about the new Supra. Anything published at this point is pure speculation.

R&T obviously had some white-space to fill. This is not "news"... just more of the same junk filler we've seen over and over again about the mythical revival of this legendary car.

The Lexus LF-A concept has been around since Jan. '05. It is not a "Supra" revival, but an attempt to produce a Porsche 911 competitor (a la Nissan GT-R). Again, any bhp/torque/engine-spec/0-60 quotes at this time are pure B.S.
