I'm sure (and hope) it wont make it into production. This would be like a cheap G35 coupe... therefore would kill G35 sales.

Nissan wouldnt (and shouldnt) be this stupid to make an altima that has almost identical lines as the G35, with the exception of the front and rear.

If it DOES make it to production, im selling my G35!

I dont want to get confused and compared to an Altima.

looks like they just slapped the headlights of a 350z onto a G35, changed the front a little and called it the new altima. ...damn.

yeah, i mean this would be a fwd car... a fair comparison would be a guy getting a 911 and finding a boxster coming out i suppose? g35 is more of a 'real sports car'... but nissan would push units with this car.. it would be like the TC

it will look close to the current g35, but the current g35 will still look a lot better, esp side by side.

the new g35 takes the g to an all new level though... and this doesnt compare to that

The new G may be different looking and better, but they screw the current model owners in my opinion. Do you honestly think everybody here will be upgrading? Honestly, a lot of people here barely can afford the G, let alone trading up every two years and taking a huge depreciation.

That brings up one question. For those who can afford a GT-R, would you have faith to sink $80K not knowing if Nissan Motor is gonna pull the same a few years down the road?

I wish we could see the rear end. I wonder if it'll have the Altima style tail lights or look more like the G.

Since when does a car company make two different models look almost exactly the same? I think we're missing some info that would clear this up some.

It will have the same style tail lights as the Altima IF this car actually comes out.

Nissan wouldnt be THAT stupid to put G or Z tail lights on this car.
