Help me decide a weekend car for 35k

I made some earlier posts about comparing a g35 to a c6, however i am no nearer making a decision. I think the reason i am having trouble deciding because in a perfect world i would have one car for each situation - hehe.

Here is what i have narrowed it down to with regards to needs:

I work from home in santa monica, i barely need the use for a car, when i do it is for local errands or thrashing it up PCH for family get togethers on a sunday.

I would like something reliable enough that i can leave it in the garage all week and it definitely start first time.

Most of my friends want me to get a four seater, i think this is pay back for giving me lifts for the last year, but personally i am torn between a four seater a two seater and a two seater soft top.

I don't want anything too expensive to maintain.

I want something that has a combination of style and performance, so not an EVO

I really cant make up my mind;

There are some really attractive looking deals on ebay for 1999/2000 996's, there is a cute perfect condition 1960's merc 280sl and triumph TR6 round the corner from me. I like the performance of a C6 or C5 but not sure about the image they have, especially in west LA.

I would love some opinions and feedback about ideas and suggestions.

Thanks for reading.

Im guessing u haven't driven the car. If u drive it and take corners, u wouldn't care what kind of badge it had. U would love it even with KIA badge on it.
